Our BIO-FLEECE is a true highlight. The secret to its exceptionally soft fabric lies in the fact that the fleecing process occurs after dyeing, not before. This preserves the special softness that would be compromised in a subsequent dyeing process. Fleecing is a repeated procedure where the fabric is brushed with special brushes, and excess fibers are then trimmed like shaving with a razor. This process is repeated on both sides until the fluffiness is perfect. The fabric is made from 100% certified organic cotton, providing an excellent vegan alternative to the popular wool walk of animal origin. It's non-itchy, easily washable, and regains its fluffiness without the need for a dryer. Recognizing that fleece tends to shrink significantly, we've anticipated this in production and allowed for approximately 10% shrinkage. As a result, the fabric practically doesn't shrink anymore. However, we still recommend pre-washing – better safe than sorry. This meticulous manufacturing process ensures an exceptionally high level of comfort and an unparalleled sense of coziness. Stoffonkel BIO-FLEECE is extremely versatile. It's perfect for sewing jackets, sweaters, and baby overalls that keep you comfortably warm during the cold months. It also works wonderfully for lining jackets, hats, loops, and much more. CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
We recommend washing the garments inside out. The bio-fabric can be up to 40° be washed. Optical brighteners and high spin cycles should be avoided. We have had good experiences with bleach-free organic detergents.
All qualities, colours and designs are produced exclusively for us in cooperation with our production partners. We also sell the fabrics almost exclusively to shops and processors at home and abroad. Our standard bale length for all organic fabrics is 3 meters. On request, we can adapt the bale length to the needs of our customers.
