Organic selanik khaki
Selanik: a wonderful knit fabric with a silky shine. The knitting pattern is an elegant rib pattern. The backside is smooth, so the fabric feels great. The slight addition of nylon gives the fabric a wonderful shimmer. The rib structure together with the small amount of spandex gives elasticity needed for comfortable garments. With the weight of 350 grams per square meter, the fabric is slightly heavier than our jacquard, for example, which weighs around 290 grams. However, our Selanik is light enough to sew comfortable garments that don't become too heavy. The backside stabilizes the fabric so that it cannot wear out.
The cotton used is sourced from certified organic farming. The fabric is manufactured by a production partner certified under Oeko-Tex® Standard 100, Class 1. This certification applies to the production facility. Fabric is sold by the metre and supplied without modification.
